I'm using Entourage. When I set the font size higher for my own convenience -- 18 pt -- the recipients receive really large type, which for business is unacceptable.

I'm a designer, and need the higher resolution. Is there a setting that I can't find or an available program? Oddly, I have a duplicate monitor hanging off my PC [set at 1920 x 1200] -- running Outlook 2003 -- and the type displays larger.
BUT what about notebooks?

I would definitely buy a MAC notebook if its touchpad had three buttons like all PC notebooks.

I have NEVER heard Leo mention this issue. I am totally hooked on "right click menus" and could not use a notebook with only 2 buttons.
(I know I can plug in a 3 button mouse but that skirts the issue)

I was 1 of the many people following the whole "Metallica Vs. Napster" fiasco back in 2002, and I followed it on and off, but I never did hear about the outcome!! My son wants more freedom on the internet and I want more protection.

I have an ActionTec FIOS router that comes with surf control as a setting that you can enable and register with them. I tried the 30 day trial and it didn't block all of the sites and gave me no freedom to do much of anything. It was half the amount of the iBoss... but it didn't work have as good as it looks like the iBoss will.

I just placed an order for a Barracuda 410 Web Filter for my work network and I also have that sitting on my desk as I type this email to you. Ha ha... so I'm protecting our office as well as getting set to do the same thing at home. Good Stuff!!

Thanks for the recommendation! I did some research and it looks like an excellent product!!

Thanks Leo! Thanks for taking my call last Sunday regarding the best way to create an RSS feed for the "Wait a Minute..." podcast!
http://www.farmhousefilms.com

I downloaded and bought 'Feeder' and after a bumpy start (I was trying to host the files on a different server than the one that the website was on and it was too convoluted) everything is going great!

As soon as the other folks (the content creators) give me the go-ahead, I'll be submitting it to iTunes.

Thanks again for another VERY helpful show!

that basic internet connection . . .

Leo/Listeners/Readers ... on Sat 060923 there was talk about E-mail hosting w/ Tim from Upland ... at some point could you talk more about mail/internet ? ... here's a bit of history: we went from the small-towne ISP provider but we moved which meant changing the email address for the new small-towne ISP provider ... then we changed to EarthLink dialup (that dates it) so we could keep an email address even when moving ... then along came cable modems so we added our EarthLink account to our cable line paying big bucks each month to RoadRunner who provides only moderate speed most of the time (but that's another question all together) ... now dotMac looks interesting but we are already paying the bucks to EarthLink/RoadRunner ... so ... where does it all end ? ... & ... what is the best choice ? ... you need the basic hookup to the web & what is the best way to do that ... comments / suggestions from Leo/Listeners/Readers would all be welcomed . . . . . . .

Geekest way to listen to Leo on KFI

Leo as the voice of Kitt
Suggestion.

I have noticed that Leo seems to be having a lot of spam issues on the Show Notes comments. I have never left a comment so I wouldn't know if you already have this implemented. If so, sorry for the useless thread.

Anyways, one way of really cutting down on spam is by using a verification code. Basically it asks the commentator to input a few random (generated by PHP) numbers. It is rather easy to do; a simple google search came up with several places to learn how to do it rather easily. I also do know that there are prebuilt scripts that do this for you.

This will cut down on a lot/all of your spam if you don't have it. There are ways around it, but not easily (as far as I know). I hope this helps you out.
