At 54, my friends find it amusing that I have a video ipod...but are impressed when they see the quality of the audio and video. I don't listen to much music, but the podcasts are a treat! Keep up the good work.

Hi My Name Is Ryan

Hi my name is Ryan and I'm Canadian...
Their ad included in the Orange County Register on Sunday 17-Sep-2006 says it all. On the upper right of page 3 of their ad they offer 'MEMOREX 16x DVD +/- 100-pack Spindle' for $9.99. When I went to the local store they refused to honor the ad price. They told me that they had posted a letter saying the ad was in error. That might have been believable if the true ad price was say $19.99 instead of $9.99 (like they forgot to put the number '1' in front of the '9.99'). The store supervisor stated they would sell me the item for $24.99. The proof that the ad was not a simple printing error is found in the ad itself. The ad also said 'Save $45' just before the ad price of $9.99. Therefore the ad was not just a simple printing error, but an unscrupulous attempt to lure shoppers into their store. Does the word 'FRAUD' more accurately describe the OfficeMax business practices?

windows xp home boot CD Help

I have an HP Pavillion laptop that now won't fully starup. It goes to the prompt asking me to enter either safe mode or the last known good config. I've tried all of the options and the system recycles never fully starting windows. Looking at the files it loads, it gets half way down a list of .sys files, stops, spins a bit and then goes back to recycle. I don't have the original Win CD as HP didn't provide this. Should I buy the XP Home full version to do the repair or can I get the XP UPdate Disc to repair? Other suggestions?
